An outdoor family photoshoot in Telford


A question I often get from clients is when should they book their family photoshoot? Well... the truth is right now is the best time. Whether you're expecting, in the throws of newborn life or in the whirlwind of toddlerhood. There is truly no time like the present.


We often hold off and want to wait until things have 'calmed down' abit, life can be busy and chaotic we forget to stop and honour the season of parenthood we're in.


You might be 10 years deep, you might be 10 months in. Regardless, there is no time like the present and these photos preserve the memory of right now.


What to expect


I guide you through the entire session but mostly, I will follow your families natural lead. Let your children run around, get a feel of the environment and provide prompts throughout.


Worried that your children won't behave during the photoshoot? Don't! I don't expect your children to sit still, as a mother myself I know exactly what to expect and won't rush. I have experience with children of all ages so I know how to engage them.



Sunset photoshoots


My favourite time to shoot is during golden hour, typically an hour before sunset where the light truly shines. These are magical moments set in the great Shropshire countryside where your children can run around, play and let their personalities shine while we play, take photos and chat. You won't even realise how many photos I've taken!


Autumn photoshoots


The leaves are turning, the colours are rich and we get to run around the woods, this is one of my favourite seasons to shoot in because we get to wrap in warm wooly knits and get some fresh air which is good for the soul. The colours truly pop during this season which is why these sessions are so highly requested.
